Question

"Return to Quiz" action skipping content on first pass through slides

I created a module that when a quiz question is missed, it takes the user back to the slide with the answer. I set it up so that when you click "Continue"  after viewing the slide with the answer, you will be taken back to the quiz. I was under the impression that Captivate knows the difference from when you just came to the slide via a redirect from a missed question and when you are first viewing the content. I thought the button could perform double duty. As it turns out, when you first start the module and are going through the slides, the ones with the "back to quiz" action on the "continue" will either have a delay or no action at all when using the "continue" button to move to the next slide. On top of that, sometimes they go straight to the quiz the first time without letting you "continue" to the rest of the slides first. Help? I like the remediation feature, but this isn't working.

Yes I did- I wonder if has to do with the fact that several quiz questions will return to that particular slide? Would that cause Captivate to be confused?

Hmm, I never did try that out. Is it possible to check it out: duplicate that slide so that the content slide is not the same?
