Revert from responsive to non-responsive

Hi,

I am trying out the responsive design to see if my company wants to use it. I am still making edits to the project in the responsive version. I am just wondering now if there is a way to revert to non-responsive if we decide the responsive version is too much work in the end?

To answer your question, there is actually a way to make it happen. But the development team hasn't (yet) created a way.

The way you would do it would be to either:

1. Create a new project, then carefully copy the assets and elements from one project to the other.

or

2. Play the Responsive project, then use Captivate to record it as it is playing.

What will happen when fluid boxes are used in the responsive project, Rick?

In versions before CP2017 you could easily copy the desktop version to a non-responsive project, but I really don't know what will happen with the new fluid boxes. It is a totally different approach from the former breakpoint views.

I'm surprised you don't have a blog post that tells us what will happen with fluid boxes!

My point was to try and and be helpful by answering the question the best way I knew how to answer it. Not just to simply advise that because it wasn't built in, that it couldn't be accomplished.

Cheers... Rick

CP2017 only allows changing a non-responsive to a responsive project, not the reverse.
