Captivate v5.5

I would like to create some objects to place on slides that have the same fill colour as the colour of the border (stroke) around the Adobe Red, Blue, Yellow and Green Text Captions.

Does anyone have their actual RGB numbers or their HEX # ?

I think the following are pretty close - but if anyone knows the true values - that would be great.

Blue R13 G140 B255 HEX #0D8CFF

Red R255 G0 B0 HEX #FF0000

Yellow R255 G255 B128 HEX #FFFF80

Green R106 G187 B76 HEX #6ABB4C

Hi Noel

You might want to take a look at Color Cop. It's a freeware app that allows you to sample colors on your screen and reports back the RGB and HEX values.

Click here to visit the Color Cop site

Hi Rick, I have something similar, Colour Pic (http://www.iconico.com/colorpic/) which does same thing.

Just not 100% sure the eye dropper has grabbed the exact / correct values. I am pretty sure the above are close, but if someone has the definitive values, so much the better.

Noel,

I always use the color picker of CP itself (under Fill or Stroke in the vertical toolbox), because have the experience that same colors picked in different applications do not always look the same. This are the values I'm using:

#FF0000 = red

#0080FF = blue

#FFFF80= yellow

#6ABB4C= green

You see that there is some difference for blue and green.

But if I want exact colors, I will not use the text captions, where the checking of colors is not easy, but use drawing objects with text. There you can control exactly colors of fill and stroke. If you need the small arrows however...
