Roadmap for Captivate

Question

Are there any roadmaps on what's coming or what's being developed for Adobe Captivate? As long time users me and my team have issues with Adobe Captivate not providing accessibility in accordance with WCAG and we have begun talking about moving to other authoring software. Before doing so I wanted to check what is planned for the next Adobe Captivate update.

I am also a long-time Captivate user but I have never seen Adobe publish roadmaps for Captivate versions.

If your accessibility is essential to your project, and you are not getting it from the latest version of Captivate, my advice would be to start researching other products immediately to see if any actually offer the level of compliance you want.

Even if someone inside Adobe were to say that the next version of Captivate will have accessibility enhancements that doesn't guarantee that it will meet your requirements. It's up to you to evaluate the risks and do what you feel is best for your company.
