Rollover captions

Hi, I want text to appear when a learner rolls the mouse over an image on the slide.  However, when I go to objects, the rollover options are listed but they are ghosted and I can't access them.

Responsive projects are aimed at mobile devices, where rollovers have not much sense. Rollover caption, rollover image and rollover slidelets are not available.

If you want rollover functionality, you'll need to keep to normal projects. It can be HTML output, doesn't have to be SWF output.

Really? Has something changed?

How are you achieving that rollover functionality in HTML?

Although it is indicated not to be supported, rollovers do work on desktop/laptop in most browsers.

To be on the safe side I often use the CpExtra widget (HTML) which allows to add all type of events.

Likely it's because your project type is Responsive HTML 5. And rollover events aren't supported in that type of project.
