Rollover effect not working in Captivate 9 responsive projects

Hi,

I have created a responsive project in Captivate 9 and enabled gesture navigation. However, rollover effects are not visible in the mobile version. The mobile breakpoints display in a very clunky manner when I preview it using Adobe Edge Inspect.

Has anyone experienced this? Is there is a fix?

Thanks.

Also, state views take a long time to appear with gesture navigation.

You need to forget about rollover effects when targetting HTML5 output as they are not compatible.  (You do not use a mouse on a mobile device, so how would you achieve a rollover?)

Not sure what your other issues might be, but I suggest you upload your content to a web server and test from there.  Edge Inspect is not necessarily going to replicate your exact end user environment.

What I am trying to achieve is that if a learner points to a clickable object (not necessarily a button) in a mobile view, a state change is shown so that the learner is aware that the object is clickable.

Apparently, this effect is shown in the captivate sample tablet course as follows:
