Rollover Slidelet Issue

I'm trying to create a rollover slidelet. The slidelet seems to work ok except for one thing. A small box with an "X" in it appears in the top-right corner of the slidelet, as shown below. What is it? More important: How can I get rid of it?

Probably I am too late for this, but I had similar problem and it made me furious, I spent whole night trying to resolve it and found out something really strange...
I was creating a slide with few rollover slidelets, and the white square was showing only on one slidelet... So I was looking around for some help, didn't found anything, and decided to delete the rollover slidelet that was showing me the X-square and create a new one exactly the same with same properties, same position, same captions, put it in front of all objects and the white square was gone...

One way to get rid of the button is to stretch your slidelet in width or height so that the button is outside of the visible stage area.

That sounds interesting. I'll try it.

    Thanks

    Hi,

If you click on the Rollover Slidelet->Go to the PI->And set the "Stick Slidelet" to ON, then on clicking the Rollover Slidelet, the slidelet comes up and if you want to close it, you could click on this "X" button. If this cross is overlapping your area, increase the dimensions on the slidelet.

    Thanks,

    Hi Morton

I see Sikandar explained why you see the X. What wasn't explained was that you have no means of suppressing it.

I've seen many others ask if there is a way to prevent the X from appearing. Unfortunately at present there is no way I'm aware of.

If you would like to add your voice to those that would love to see Adobe give us an option for controlling whether we see the X or not, please consider submitting a Wish Form to ask for the ability. (Link is in my sig)

    Cheers... Rick

    Morton,

Rick is right, unfortunately there is no way of suppressing the "x" icon:(.
