Question

Rollover Text to Change Colour

Is there a way to make rollover text change colour like a hyperlink when the mouse or curser moves over it?  I've been doing the following:  Entering text in a text caption box, then copying and pasting that into a rollover text caption.  I change the colour of of the rollover text, then place a click box over that so that if you rollover the text it changes colour and if you click on it it will take you to the next slide.  However:  when I preview it it all works but the text is slightly off, so it changes colour but I can still see the original text slightly underneath…I'm not sure if this is a font problem, but I don't see why text that I've copied and pasted should lose it's kerning slightly.  Is there a different way to do this, and also is there a way to adjust kerning on just a few letters, as opposed to a whole word?  Option-right or left arrow seems to adjust the kerning of the whole word.  Any help would be appreciated!!

Surely someone has tried to do this?  Anyone?

Maybe users don't understand your question, I do not understand it and am used to answer lot of questions.

As for kerning: Captivate is not a desktop publisher nor a layout application, kerning is not available.

Sorry, I will try to simplify it...is there a way to make the text change colours when you hover over it?  Much like when you mouse-over a link on the web?
