Saba 5.4 SCORM 1.2 tracking and reporting issues

I see that there have been numerous threads about the Saba 5.4 LMS and issues with SCORM settings for tracking and reporting. There doesn't seem to be any clear answer to this problem. I have tried several combinations, even the new template of sending tracking data at the end. However, I am still getting my multiple choice quiz showing blank slides, skipping and when you select the re-take button the quiz goes into review mode. The tracking seems to be easily broken by skipping an answer or by selecting the back button.

So my current settings are:

My next attempt at a solution was to look at SCORM 2004.

Any ideas?

Could you try to change the 'Required' option? I do not use SABA, but did read a lot about issues with this particular option, worthwhile to give it a try,
