Saved project, reopened it and all the theme colors are changed.

I saved the project a few days ago. I opened it today to work on it, only to see that a lot of the colors are changed to grey and black. Not all, but most. The shapes or buttons that were blue are now black or grey.

Oops, remember another question where the theme color palette showed up with only black and white.

How did you edit? Did you change the theme color palette to a saved custom palette? Did you change the object styles in the Object Style Manager? Did you save all those changes by saving the theme into a custom theme?

Here are the chain of events/ changes for this project.

This project has been finished, for the most part, for a while now. We are having a pilot of the online course, so most of the things that they are finding that need fixed are small things here and there. I went in to the project specifically to publish it as a SWF/HTML (both). This is the only Module that would not publish as an html - the error was that it "could not delete folder" then showed a folder path. I was able to fix that by changing the name in the publish dialog, but then it started throwing an internal error. I narrowed it down to two slides that were causing the problem - both had widgets. When I took the widgets off it would publish fine, so I completely redid both widgets. The project published fine, and I saved it. I opened it today and colors are completely different. Pictures of what it should look like and what it looks like below.

Honestly, I could just use our old version and make the small changes (no big deal), but this has happened before, and I'm just curious as to why it is happening at this point.

Most learning interactions can use Theme colors as well. I didn't see an answer to my questions? If everything is saved in a custom theme with a custom theme colors palette, there will be consistency in colors. Adobe always changes themes in each version, even the default theme. I suspect something like that happened.
