Question

Saving a file (problem)

After an approximately 10-minute Captivate session, which appears to have recorded properly, when we try to save the file, the program returns an error message and crashes (shuts down). It happened about six times in a row (we started over each time). I am a new Captivate user. Am I doing something wrong? Any advice would be appreciated!

There is no trick in saving the file. And it does not need publishing first. You should be able to save it. Try capturing notepad, and then saving, just ofr the sake of testing.

    thanks

It's an Excel spreadsheet that we are trying to teach someone how to use. Is there some "trick" to saving a file? Does it need to be published first or something like that?

    Hi Leslie,

What is the application you are trying to record? I am wondering if this is application specific. Did you try capturing any other application?

    thanks
