Saving theme crashes captivate

All,

Everytime I make a change to my master slides in my Theme, captivate crashes. Has anyone experienced this and have a solution? I'm using Captivate 8 on a Mac running Yosemite. I've experienced crashes before, but never had issues saving a captivate theme. This is insane.

    I'm having the same problem. I'm using Captivate 9 (64 bit) on Windows 10, have plenty of memory, and run on my hard drive as an administrator. Also did the recent hotfix, so have v.9.0.0.230.  

    Captivate 9 seems to hate quiz questions. I can't edit a quiz slide or the master slides without the project "not responding" for up to 2 minutes with each change. It happens on knowledge check and graded questions.

    I just tried copying 5 knowledge check slides into a new responsive project and then change the theme colors - and it crashed immediately. Anyone know what might be causing it?

    Hi there,

    Is the crash happens consistently with some specific steps? Can you please check in your Captivate installation folder and see any crash log files are present( with the extensions *.dmp,*.dmp.txt)?

    I apologize for the slow response, I had to get my first project finished. Now it's happening on my current project.

    In response to your questions - there are no crash log files anywhere that I can find (after looking and searching).

    I've got the problem narrowed down to when I try to change anything about the font, like color or size, in a quiz or knowledge check answer, Captivate becomes unresponsive for minutes before making the change. If I try to change anything in Answers/FIB Text in Object Style Manager - Captivate immediately shuts down.

    It's frustrating that it takes so much time to make a simple change. Everything else works fine, it's just the quiz slides that don't cooperate.
