Scored/Graded Quiz built into Captivate 9. Client decided to remove Quiz. Now they want it back.

Back in 2018 the client wanted to add a graded quiz to a Captivate 9 course.  Then they changed their mind and I removed the quiz.  Of course I could not delete the Quiz Results screen so I hid it.

Now I am on v2017.  The client wants to reinstate the quiz. I was able to build the quiz but can't upgrade the Quiz Results to work right.  I assume it's because of the differing authoring versions.  I have a LOT of courses that need this treatment.  I summary, the questions were built in v2017 but the Quiz Result screen is left over from version 9.

I've tried to make a new course in 2017 and then copied the new Quiz Results screen into the original course (remember, originally built with a quiz in version 9, removed the quiz questions, but the original Results screen is probably incompatible with 2017 quiz.

 

Any suggestions?

    Did you re-activate 'Show Score at the end of the Quiz' under Quiz Preferences, Settings?

    Was this course created in a very old version? In older versions it was possible to delete the score slide, in the later versions you could only hide that slide, never delete it because it has a lot of functionality built in. Here is an example:

    Did you check the theme? Just to check if it is due to the theme, try to apply another theme and see if you are able to introduce the score slide.
