Question

Screen capture shortcut key doesn't work on remote desktop

Most of my work in Captivate 6.0 involves taking screen captures on remote desktops.  I have set 'Print Screen' as my keyboard shortcut in Captivate to take a screen capture.  Sometimes the Captivate keyboard shortcuts work on the remote desktop and sometimes they don't.  Can you tell me why?  Is it something I can change on my end, or does it have to do with settings on the remote desktop?  If on the remote desktop, what and where are the settings located?  Thanks!!

Hello,

Welcome to Adobe Forums!

Could you please tell me the exact version of Adobe Captivate (Go to Help > About Adobe Captivate) ?

Please try to run Captivate as administrator and then check  (Right click on Captivate icon and then click select run as admin)

See if it resolves your issue

Thanks and Regards

The version of Captivate I’m using is 6.0.1.240.

I opened Captivate as an administrator. However, the Captivate keyboard shortcuts do not work when the focus is on the remote desktop. If I click off of the remote desktop, the keyboard shortcuts work; if the focus is on the remote desktop, they do not work.

Thanks!
