Screen goes red

Hi

The screen goes red in preview and after the movie is published. It only seems to happen on slides that contain animation / movie clips.

Has anybody got a solution to this?

Thanks

The behavior that is being described here has nothing to do with resources, nor with the size of the file ... did you perhaps post this reply to the wrong thread?

The changes are usually a "season to taste", or "trial and error" thing when changing frame rate or display time. There may be a more scientific method, but someone else will have to step in for that. I have had success changing display time by as little as a tenth of a second (0.1).

    Ciao

Thanks to Captiv8or for the tips.

Just made changes and it all seems to work. The movies I'm using were captured with Captivate 2 apart from one clip. Would this have been enough to create errors within the rest of the movie?

    Thanks again

    Check:
    1) Display time for the animation may need to be adjusted a tiny amount, or

    2) Frame rate for the animation may need to be changed if it conflicts with the movie frame rate.

It only seems to happen on slides that contain animations because it is the animation that is causing the problem, so "tweaking" its settings can usually solve the problem.

Hope that helps with this issue ... and welcome to the Captivate user forums.
