An was könnte das liegen?

Sebastian

Correct answer Lilybiri

Sorry not to answer in German, which I understand well but dare not to write.

I have a question: you are talking about a Camtasia template. Camtasia is a TechSmith, not an Adobe application. Perhaps it is a typo because the screenshot you are showing is clearly Captivate.

For a software simulation Captivate uses the Blank daughter master slide, and that master slide is lacking in your theme. That is the problem. Can you add a Blank (sorry, don't know the German master slide, and apply that to the software sim slide? Maybe you can have a look at the correct name for that master slide in one of the default themes?

Hi Lilybiri,

im sorry...

Were working with booth applications (Captivate and Camtasia) and sometimes i´m confused about the slightly different names of them. But as you guessed, my question was asked for Adobe Captivate, im gonna edit the post immediately.

Thanks for you're help! I guess it works!

Is it correct how i've done it in the screenshot? And is it correct that the checkbox i marked red, have to be disabled (standard is enabled)? Otherwise it doesnt work...

Thank you again Lilybiri, you safed my day.

But poor that a payed customised Template, from a company wich made a training in our company is not able to give us a properly working Template...

Guten Morgen!

You could have answered in German, no problem for me. It is just that I hate writing non-correctly and my German grammar has become rusty (don't use it often), it is only my 4th language.

Too much mediocre developers around, as a consultant (mostly solving issues caused by developers) I have seen worse. If you had a look at the article, you should have learned that they should have developed a custom Theme in the first place, doubt that is the case. And in a custom theme the Blank master slide is one of the minimum of 6 master slides that is needed both for PPT import and for software simulations. I'm sorry to be so sarcastic, but all books and training schedules which I screened don't even explain the importance of a theme. They get paid a lot for incomplete or wrong information. You rarely need a real 'template'? Did you see the custom Theme Color palette? Does the theme have a name or is it just an overridden default theme?

Did you try it now with software simulation slides? It is possible to take over the project color in that blank master slide, but avoid having the grey background image. BTW: is that image merged in the background or floating on top?
