Scrolling text box

I have searched the forum but haven't found an answer.  I need to include a text box that the user can scroll through to read all of the information.  Seems like it should be easy in Captivate but I haven't found it in Captivate 4.0.

As far as I know, there is no text caption available in Captivate that includes a scroll bar.

You may just have to break the text up onto separate slides and have a "Next" button.

    Happy to be corrected.

    Hi there,

Just to add to Kerry's post. If you own Flash then you could create use TextArea component and add all your text in Flash. Once you are happy with the way the TextArea component looks you can then publish it and insert it into Captivate as an animation. Just bear in mind that it might not render correctly when you preview.

Also bear in mind that using a TextArea component to place a large amount of text into a Captivate project (from a readability stand point) may not be the best approach :-)
