‌u r right .. The duration is 30 to 40 secs because of the audio.

You can have a look at micro-navigation, to give options to navigate to a certain frame. Lot of work though, and 30 secs is really not that much IMO.

‌30 secs is because of the audio i have embedded.. I hve already seem this blog..

but without scrubber, i want the users to rewind and forward frames just we do in a dvd.,

is that possible? Hw can i go the middle of the slide?

It is certainly not possible out of the box with Captivate.

You are not the first to ask for such a feature, and often it seems that those users are creating slides that are much too long. It is much easier to manage shorter slide, and for the end user there is no difference at all.  May I ask how long the slide duration usual is in your projects?

To avoid a scroll bar you have to choose the resolution of your project in such a way that everything fits on the screen of your end users. If you use a TOC that is in separate view, you have to take that into account for the horizontal  size (in pixels), if you should use a playbar that is not in overlay, you have to take into account its height for the vertical size.

    Thanks Lilybiri..

Iam creating a e-leanring course and there are around 70 to 100 boards.

The board duration will be 30- 40 seconds approximately.

I want to user to move forward within the slides..

Is custom rewind and forward possible within the slides??

I probably do not understand you well. Yes, you can add a Rewind button, use this action:

        Expression cpCmndGotoSlide = cpInfoCurrentSlide -1

        Continue

What do you mean by forward? Normally the playhead will continue until it bumps onto a Pause command. Is that duration between 30-40 seconds due to an audio clip? That is the only reason I will have slides that long.
