I'm using an adobe skin on a current project. I need the audience to be forced to click "Next" to go to the next slide. I don't want the project to Auto Play. Can you tell me what I need to do?

I am using Captivate 3.

Thanks

Mandy

    Hi there

You need to adjust where the button is pausing. If something is fading in and fading out, that normally happens for half a second on each end. You are likely pausing the slide at the end of a fade.

    Hi Mandy

You need to insert a Click Box or Button object on each slide. This will pause the project until the user clicks.

Then you need to remove the playback controls. If the playback controls are visible, the user can move to wherever they like.

Thank you. One quick follow up question to that:

I inserted a button to each slide. What causes the slide to fade out as the button pauses? I don't want it to fade, I just want it to freeze until the user clicks the next button.

    Thank you!
