I am selling my laptop (where my Adobe Pro is installed) and I want to take it off and put it on my new desktop. Is that possible?

Thanks!!

Hi there

Certainly possible. But what do you mean by "Adobe Pro"? This forum is for Adobe Captivate. While we wait to find out, click Help > About and see if you have an option to "Deactivate". If so, choose that option. Then you simply install the software on the new computer and activate it there.

Cheers... Rick

Oh, geez. I don't even know what Captiv8r is! I just want to take all my

adobe products (Adobe Acrobat X Pro, and all the creative apps) off of the

laptop and onto the new desktop.

It depends which type of license you have. If it is not a subscription license, you'll have to deactivate the applications on your old laptop, and then you'll be able to have them on the desktop. That is not necessary for a subscription license.
