Sending a cptx file via emial

 received a cptx file produced in Captivate 9 from another user via email that they need me to work on.  I have Captivate 9 but the file will not open.  Is there something special you have to do to sending a cptx file to another Captivate user so the file will open?

    You have to check if you are working with exacyly the same version of Captivate.

    Moreover: a cptx-file is really a zipped folder. Do never unzip it, which can happen when a file is sent by mail. I would never do that, but upload to Dropbox or something similar and send the link.

    Turns out she has Captivate version 10 version 9.  So since her version is newer I can't open it, correct?  However if I emailed her my cptx file in version 9, she would be able to open it, is that correct?

    Correct. CP2017 will be able to open a CP9 file, but the reverse is not possible.
