Shape buttons in questions require double-clicks

We have created 30+ courses in Captivate 9.0.0.230 and have been publishing to Scorm 1.2, to HTML5.  

We have some shape buttons on the question slides...  After they get a correct answer, we animate off the Submit button, and show a Next Shape button at 1.6 seconds.  This has ALWAYS worked fine.....  even up to 1 month ago, but suddenly, ALL of my shape buttons in questions (including a Menu & an Exit shape button)  are requiring a double click instead of a single click to function properly.  It does not occur when published to Flash, or published to HTML5 run stand-alone; it only occurs when published to HTML5 when run using IE11 through the LMS; (Chrome runs fine). This same method has worked fine all last year in the same LMS so we think it may be the latest update to IE11 but need some sort of solution because we cannot reversion our courses if there needs to be fixes.   We are using IE11.0.9600.    Does anyone have any ideas?
