Shared action doesn't stop audio

I have a simple shared action that 1. Stops Triggered Audio, 2. Shows a text prompt, and 3. plays audio from the library.

When I click on the first button, this works fine but when I click on the second button, the triggered audio from the first button does not stop. Is audio initiated in a Shared Action not triggered audio?

    That is very strange. Normally you do not need the command Stop Triggered Audio, when using the command Play audio with a new clip because the first audio clip should stop automatically when a new clip is played. I just double-checked and the shared action is functioning as expected: 3 buttons showing a text and playing an audio clip. I don't have overlapping audio. This is the Timeline:
