Short Answer in captivate

Do not use a Short Answer question, but a Fill-in-the-Blank question in that case. You can have multiple blanks in such a question. However partial scoring is not possible.

Or create a custom question, where you use multiple Text Entry Boxes, which can be scored each of them individually.
