Short answer QUIZ word limit restriction. Please help..

Can we have minimum text restriction for Short answer quiz. My requirement is learner must type minimum 100 words. If not a pop-up should appear. Maximum text limit is not provided but minimum is mandatory. Please advice whether this functionality is possible in Captivate 8.

No, short answer questions are pretty limited. You will have to turn to JS to realize this, not using the default questions, but maybe using the Scrolling text interaction. It has an associated variable and JS will allow you to count the number of words in that variable. Personally I almost never use the Short Answer type of question, but create a custom question slide. Here is one example, something that would never be able to realize with the default question slide:
