Hi, using CP4 [still!]

is it possible to SHOW/HIDE images without leaving the slide the image is on?

To Lieve, Rick and all the other helpful souls handling these forums, have a great Xmas break and a greater 2011

    Hi Bill,

Thanks for your Xmas wishes, please accept my best wishes for Xmas and 2011.

In CP4 you can show images only on the slide where the image is. In CP5:  If you display an image for the project as timing, you can hide the object on a later slide. I blogged about this, because it can be very useful and avoids to have multiple copies all with a different ID, makes some advanced actions more simple. I just checked but indeed in CP4 this is not possible.

You probably do not know yet that I started to blog about Captivate a couple of months ago? If you ever could upgrade, here is the link to the blog post about hiding/showing:

    Many thanks Lilybiri,

I have finished my design project of the tourism online training, so I am more relaxed about moving up to CP5 in the new year.

I am always concerned about leaving a product I am familiar with and taking on a new version but I have locked my website in now

    http://www.tourismspringboard.com/online/so I can venture forward.

I will follow your blog with much interetst as you have a skill of explaining what, to a beginner, is comples and making it easy.

    All power to your keyboard.

    With affection

    Bill
