We are working with Captivate 4 and are creating quizzing activities and are unclear as to how we can make the quiz display the correct answer if the students do not correctly answer the question. Is this option possible in Captivate?  If so, what are the steps that we need to take when completing the build out of the quiz?

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi Shannon.  A very simple method is to enter the correct answer in the "incorrect answer" caption on the quiz question.  Just select the incorrect answer caption and change it to something like "Incorrect: The answer is 4" or whatever.  That way the feedback is as instantaneous as the "Correct!" caption.

Hmmm, seems Mister C. beat me to the answer!

Hi Shannon.  One thing you could do is to edit the failure caption for each question, and in the text specify what the correct answer is.  So if they answer it incorrectly, the failure caption would appear, indicating they were wrong and what the right answer is.

Another way to do it is to edit the quiz preferences (Quiz -> Quiz Preferences), and select the Settings category.  Select the check box to Show score at end of quiz and the check box to Allow user to review quiz.

On the quiz results slide there will be a button to Review Quiz:

If the student clicks the Review Quiz button, they will be taken back through each question, with an indication of what they answered and what the correct answer is, if they answered it incorrectly.

    I hope this helps.
