Side menu in Adobe Captivate

Hi, can i set a side menu bar in Adobe Captivate 9?

Is the TOC not suitable for what you want?
If not, you can create such a menu bar with shape buttons and (advanced/shared) actions.

I suppose that each item will navigate the user to something? If not what is the purpose of item 1 etc?
