Sign in Required for Acrobat DC Pro Installation (downloaded from Office Depot)

We ordered a copy of Acrobat DC Pro from Office Depot.  However, they only offer a download.  When we install the product and try to use it for the first time, it refuses to open unless we sign up for an account with adobe.  We have NEVER had to do this in the past and feel we are entitled to our privacy.  With that said, we are looking to download the DVD for Acrobat DC Pro that does NOT require an associated username and password in order to simply use the product which we feel is just ridiculous.  Please advise.
