SImulation only records last screen

New to Captivate 9, when recording a simulation, only last screen is recorded, no filmstrip is generated

    Hi Lilybiri,

    I did, but the OP stated it was a software simulation demo, and I wasn't sure if he meant one, or the other, as that is how Captivate labels the two actions in the app "Captivate Software Simulation OR Demo" If the OP is a new user they might not make the distinction, so I thought I would check.

    I asked about the modes, and OP specified software sim, mode demo. Video

    Demo is not indicated as software simulation on the welcome screen and has

    no modes. Moreover there were some issues with capturing in first release,

    reason why I insisted on the upgrade.

    You missed several patches! Please upgrade ASAP, using Help, Updates.

    Hi FISbob,

    Always a good idea to keep current in patches as Lily recommended, but what I'm trying to figure out is if you are creating a "video demo" which will only load on frame, as its a video OR you are trying to create software simulations which should produce many frames? Can you clarify please. A quick way to see is preview what you have, if its a video it should play.

    Can you give some more details: are you talking about a Video Demo or a Sofware simulation. A Video Demo is one slide, is only a video. If you capture a software simulation, which mode did you use; demonstration, training, assessment?

    Can you check the exact version number? Latest version is 9.0.2.437.

    Hi Fisbob,

    Can we get some more info? What kind of simulation are you trying to do, Software simulation or video demo. If its only creating a single slide file, I would guess its a video. Is that correct?
