Simulation training into a blank project

Hi,

I have created some video demo's and some simulation training files. After that i started a blank project and created a template. I exported the video demo's to .mp4 and imported them with "Media -> Video". I would like to import the simulation training files as well. When i do this with copy/paste i can't change the size of the screens. I tried exporting them to .swf and imported them into my blank project. When i preview it i can see the simulation training but when i publish it i won't.

Someone who has a solution for this?

Kind regards,

Mark

What i did was first find the background in the library -> save it to my desktop -> import as image in the blank file -> go to the simulation training slides -> copy entire slide (cmnd c) -> paste in the blank file (cmnd v) with background image (it will paste the mouse tracking and buttons) and then rescale it so it all fits. It maybe takes some more time but it works fine for me.

Thanks for helping guys!

Bad idea to import a CP created SWF into a main CP-file, leads often to

problems. Better way is to copy/paste slides into the main file. Of course

you have the resolution problem. Somewhere on my blog I have a post

describing a "knockout master slide" for that situation. Sorry, cannot give

you a direct link, am on phone. My home page: blog.lilybiri.com.

Hi Mark

When you paste, are you choosing the Paste As Background option? If so, that would explain why you are unable to size things. It needs to be pasted as an image.

Also, please note that if you build a simulation and export that as an MP4, it becomes a simple video and WILL NOT pause and allow user interaction.

Cheers... Rick

Hi Rick,

First off all thanks for the quick response. I just hit cmnd c in and later cmnd v in the blank project. Do i need to copy the background first and put in the interaction (with the mouse movement and click boxes) later? I know that when i'm exporting to MP4 it won't be a interaction file but thanks anyway

Kind regards,

Mark
