Single button for autoplay througout project

I would like to set up a project which does not allow each Slide to automatically play unless a button is selected as an option at the beginning.

I've tried to set up a variable which makes a custom button on a subsequent slide invisible and inactive, but that appears to only work for one screen and button.

Is there a way this can be set up to affect the built in playbar or even a custom play button on all slides?

Why not change the On Enter action for each slide to 'Pause', then insert that button (you can use a shape button on the Master slide if you want), and give it the Success action 'Continue'?

Thanks!  I'll give that a try.   I haven't explored a Master Slide but will assume that on that slide objects carry over to all slides.

If you use the Main master slide, and put that shape button Always On Top it will appear on all slides that use the Main master slide objects. That is the case for all the included themes, with exception of the eventual Introduction daughter master slide.
