Question

Skins unchecked still appear

I had selected a skin. Now I want to remove it. I uncheck the Playback control appears option. I attempt to select from the My Current Skins (which is default for new projects). It does not allow me and selects the skin I had previously selected. My published movie opens up from my hard drive with a message the SWF want to communicate with the HTML. Meaning the published project has a skin although it does not appear. Hope this makes sense. What to do.

    Hi YogilD,

After unchecking Playback Control, you also need to uncheck Show Borders on the Borders tab of the Skin Editor window (Project > Skin). With both of those options unchecked, you should be able to publish without seeing a skin swf file.

    Does that help?

    Best wishes,
