Question

Slide Actions on Open and Exit?

The playbar on my adobe captivate 8 course is causing me problems.   Sometimes the forward and backward buttons don't work unless pressed repeatedly.    In addition when a user goes back a slide, the audio does not restart.     Is there a certain way using the "On Enter" and "On exit" actions for the slide to control this?   Or is it an advanced action?     I haven't customized the existing playbar at all.  I'm using the standard Adobe one so I'm not sure why it isn't working for me.

The Next button on the playbar is executing the command 'Go to Next Slide', same for the Previous 'Go to Previous Slide'. It looks very strange that this is not happening. Maybe the project is corrupt? Or did you add On Enter or On Exit actions? If you leave them to the default setting, normally everything should function. You can create custom navigation buttons, and in that case you'll need to use commands or advanced actions (depending on what you exactly want). There is no reason to use On Enter slide actions to compensate for the buttons on the playbar. On Exit actions have to be avoided anyway.

Try clearing the cache and cleaning the Preferences, at least if you have the same experience for any project. If it is only for one project it may be corrupt.

Thanks.   Do you happen to know what the default settings are?

No Action is the command for both On Enter and On Exit.
