Slide advancement?? Not working as expected.

I imported a PowerPoint presentation, I thought I picked the option to advance on mouse click - it does not seem to be working. I am pretty new at Captivate 5 so I was wondering if there is another way to make this work or some where I can check the mouse options?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hello,

You can enter a Shortcut key, but only one, for any interactive object, also for a Click Box. Look in the Action accordion of its Properties Panel.

    Hello,

Please, could you post a screenshot of the timeline of one slide? Use the small still camera icon in the toolbar (JPEG works fine).

Did you have any clicks needed in the PPT itself to advance? Because they will be imported as well, in that case you'll not only need a click for advancing to the next slide but also for each click you inserted in the PPT.

    Hello There,

Can you check whether you see a click box on your slide? If you have chosen to advance on mouse click, then you should be seeing a click box. If you see the clickbox, check the Action attached to it, does it say 'Continue? If you don't see a click box, you can insert a click box to the size of the clickbox and assign 'Continue' or 'Go to Next Slide' as action.

    Thanks,

I added a click box and that does work, is there a way to set it so you can click any button (not just one) as an example

the Enter key or spacebar to make it advance? it only seems to work if my mouse hits inside the box. That may be the way Captivate is supposed to work...
