I insert two gif animations in a captivate slide. It is a HTML5 Project. I start and stop the Animation with two Buttons. At the end of the animation I instert a "next" button with a stop function.

When I start the two gif animation it is the problem that the slide jump automatically to the next slide. But normaly it should stop with the pause function from the "next" button.

Not only that, David, but they are very, very short as well. It is indeed never a good idea to have a pausing point right at the end of a slide. Beware: the end point of a lot of timelines is attached to the end of the slide.

I've has some issues with the pausing in HTML5 lately. I think that because your display time and you pause after time are the same it doesn't always works.

Try displaying your buttons for 1 sec and pause after .5 sec and see if that helps.
