Slide duration not following global settings - CP4

I'm using Captivate 4 and I've set the global slide duration to 1.5 seconds.

I've recorded an Automatic Recording using the Custom Mode.

When I preview my recordings I discover that all the slide durrations are 4+ seconds.

I've been manually adjusting the slide durration for each recorded slide (very annoying.)

Is there any way to have the slide duration adhere to the global settings?

Hi there

Unfortuantely I believe that setting only comes into play when you click Insert > Blank Slide.

If you feel it should operate differently, please consider submitting a Wish Form (or Bug Report depending on your view) to ask for a change.

Cheers... Rick

I guess my greater concern is that I am trying to create a training demo where the user follows the highlighted mouse clicks. It’s a little disjointed when the End User clicks an item and then has to wait 4 seconds for the slide to advance. I would want the slide to advance as soon as the End User clicks the highlighted item.
