Hi,

Captivate 5.0.2.630

Mac OS X 10.6.8

I have a click box on my slide with the options set to Pause project until user clicks.  However, when I run the slide (with or without a browser), the slide fades out when the click box appears.

Here's a screencast of the problem:

I have both "Pause for Success/Failure Captions" checked and "Pause project until user clicks" checked.

Ideas?

Thanks,

Glenn

    Hi Glenn

What you need to look at is the timing of the Click Box. These beasties pause at the end of their playback. Odds are your Click Box is timed so it ends at the same time as other elements. Typically elements fade in and fade out. So if the Click Box pauses at the end, the other objects have faded totally out.

The bottom line is that you likely need to set the end time about .75 seconds sooner than it is.

Of course!  I should have thought of that.

    Thanks for the quick response.
