Slide is not advancing

Using captivate 6, I've recently made changes to an existing project and now I'm having an issue with the project not advancing just prior to starting a quiz. The projects works as advertised up to the the slide prior to the quiz. I have a button to advance to the next slide but it fails to advance. I've tried replacing the button, deleting the slide and adding a new one, but still no luck. Any ideas?

    This type of issue is often related to what you have set for Quiz > Settings > Required field.  If it's not already set to Optional, try that setting and see if that makes a difference.

    RodWard, that was the problem. I'm not sure how that setting got changed but it fixed my issue. Thank you.

    Do you remember which changes you made? Can you post a screenshot of the timeline of the slide just before the quiz?
