Slide notes and CC automatically duplicate to multiple slides when I don't want them to.

To introduce my audience to the screen I am duplicating the slide several times at the beginning of the project, with either right-click: duplicate or copy slide paste slide. This creates slides with unique numbers in the timeline and I have added unique assets to each. However, when I go back to put slide notes or CCs on these slides that were originally duplicated, the slide notes also duplicate across all the slides.

I want there to be one unique slide note and one unique CC per slide, with no redundancy. How do I get this to happen?
