Slide Numbering - Question regarding Captivate 3

I am putting together a new CBT that I would like to input my slides from PowerPoint.

However, I am planning on making several of the slides accessable only when a "button" is pressed on a particular slide.

(example.  On slide 5 there will be 2 buttons, one will lead to slide 28 then return, one will lead to slide 29 then return)

What I am looking for is the removal of any slide numbering when I publish this project.

I do not want the viewer to see that they went from slide 5 to 28 then back to 5.

I understand that most people want their slides to be numbered, but for this project I am headed in the other direction.

As the title states, I am using Captivate 3, which unfortunately the powers that be will not pay for the upgrade to Captivate 4.

Hi there

If you aren't using a Playback Control there is never any indication the user is on different slides. Even if you are using a Playback Control, the only time I'm aware an indication of slide numbering is present is when you hover or drag the progress indicator.

Are you seeing slide numbers in some other area? If so, can you post a screen shot here? If you do, please insert it inline using the Camera icon. Don't attach. Attachments must be approved before anyone can see them.
