Slide Properties Issue

HI,

I'm trying to get this slide to return to a previous slide (with branching options) when the slide completes. But when I click "Jump to Slide" for the Exit action, then select the dropdown to chose the slide to jump to, the dropdown box is empty. (see attached screenshot)

Can someone please help????

Hmmm, this looks very weird. In the Filmstrip I see that the active slide has a name, but in the Properties panel the Name field is blank. And it is definitely the Properties panel of a slide, not of a master slide.

Did you try to reset the workspace? I hope the project is not corrupted, because that kind of phenomenon is worrying.

It is worrying, indeed. I'm worried.

I restarted the program a couple of times, and tried running as an administrator (which created a bizarre aspect ratio in the preview when I chose to preview in web browser).

But how would I "reset the workspace"?

You never use workspaces? You would be glad with CP8 (I do not). Open the dropdown menu under Classic.

Since you already restarted CP, this is indeed worrying. You have to run CP always as administrator. Did you try to refresh the Preferences? Look in the 'utils' subfolder in the installation folder of Captivate, there are files to run to do the cleaning. Captivate has to be closed. Also, check the cache, how big is it already?
