Hello,

I am using captivate 2017 and I have the following variable on each slide:

The TS variable =

I inherited this project from someone else and noticed the total slides (TS) only works on certain slides but not others. Should each page have this variable linked when entering the page such as this:but change the number above to the number of each slide?

Thank you for your help

Sally

Is there any reason why 2 is subtracted from the total number of slides? Normally you show such a counter as:

$$cpInfoCurrentSlide$$ of $$cpInfoSlideCount$$.

Do you see the variable inserted in a text container, either on the master slide or on the first slide, timed for the rest of the project and always on top?

Thank you Lilybiri...I think I got it to work. I just changed the variables to read current slide of total slide count and it gave me what I wanted. Thank you.

I am wondering now though about accessible project. I have provided text for all objects and text fields and turned my accessibility on when publishing but when we test it using a reader, we could not get the button keys to work at all for someone who is unable to use the mouse. Is there anything else I need to do?

Thank you.

I just found out that my dialogue box was checked. I unchecked it and it now has a selection box (faint blue) appears when I tab between keys but this only happens while in preview mode and is not showing up at all while in publish mode. Whats the issue here?
