Question

Slide video is longer than original video

I inserted a  slide video (length is 5:32) into my Captivate project. I am using slides to generate a TOC. When I display the video in the Edit Video Timing window it displays the length correctly. However, when I preview the project, the length is twice as long (12:15), with gaps throughout. I am wondering why.

Thanks

Bryan

    Hello,

    Welcome to Adobe Forums.

Which version of Adobe Captivate are you using ?

Do you have MAC or Windows ? (Complete Information)

Are you inserting .FLV or .MP4 or a different Video ?

Which method are you using to insert a Video (Slide Video or Multi Syncronized) ?

    Thanks,

    Vikram

    Hello Vikram,

    I am using version 5.5

I am running Windows 7 on a 64 bit machine.

I am inserting an MP4 as a slide video.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Does it convert the .mp4 into .flv ?

Did you check the published version ?

    Thanks,

    Vikram
