Slide video starts from the beginning when pressing continue button

Hi

I have added a multi slide video (I guess thats the old slide video?)
And I added a button that will pause the slide and slide video. When I the click on the button with a simple continue script on it, the video starts from the beginning. In the playhead I can see that the video continues from where it was paused. But the content of the video starts from the beginning. Why is that?

    Multislide video is a video distributed over multiple slides.

    Could you post a screenshot of the Timeline of such a slide, and of the action used for the Pause/Play button? Is it a toggle button?

    it is just a button. on the button I have added a pause after 0.5 sec. Then the only action is a continue when the button is clicked.

    The video was first in one slide. Then I tried to add it over several slides. But same thing. The video starts from the beginning.
