Slides copying each other

Question

I have one slide at the end of my movie that has a text
caption. I can't edit the caption, it is almost part of the
background .
I added a blank slide and copied some other slides to the end
of the movie. They all picked up the text caption. I couldn't
delete it from any slide.
I tried deleting the offending slide and and all the end
slides but when I added any kind of slide, the caption appeared
again.
I copied most of my good slides to a new movie. Even put in a
new slide with an image and new text caption. But it did the same
thing, adding the caption to all the rest of the slides in the
movie.
any suggestions would be helpfu. I'm still new at
this.

Hi PeoPerson and welcome to our community

Try visiting the First slide where you see this caption. See if you can double-click it to edit its properties. If so, it's possible that if you click the Options tab and look at the drop-down for "Display for", you will see "rest of project". If you see this, click the drop-down and choose a different setting such as "Specific time".
