Slides not showing up on recording
Hi - I am a consultant working for a company that uses Captivate on occasion but does not have in-house experts or support available for the tool. My team is recording "video demos" for training which are mostly PowerPoint slides with a live speaker providing voiceover and playing a few pre-recorded video demos throughout. We are finding that when doing a ~30-40 min recording, we have just one PowerPoint slide in each recording (not always the same slide) that does not show up on the Captivate recording (even though it was visible on the computer screen when the recording was in progress). We also see a small box in the center of the screen either before or after this happens, which seems to indicate something has gone wrong, but there is no way to verify a slide has been skipped (or which slide) until we view the recording at the end. I will try to find a screen shot of this box if helpful (looks like the corner of any Windows application with just the minimize, maximize, and close buttons showing).
Has anyone experienced something similar and determined how to prevent it?
