Question

Slides with event videos are skipped when publishing to MP4 (works when published to SWF)

Hi all -

I am a new user of Captivate. I created a tutorial video comprised of 4 slides. Slide 1 contains audio, and a few textboxes that appear at different times for about 20s. Slide 2, 3, and 4 each contain a different event video (since I recorded 3 separate videos). The videos are set to auto play, slide duration is set on 1 second, and set to pause for the duration of the video. When I published to SWF, all the slides and the videos show fine. However, when published to mp4, the videos do not show and after slide 1 plays correctly for 20 seconds, slide 2, 3, and 4 appear for the 1 second each, and videos do not play.

I'm sure I'm missing something basic here, but any workarounds that would allow me to publish the mp4 correctly are welcome too.

Thank you!

Hello,

Welcome to Adobe Forums !

You can simply insert the video and you dont need to change any duration of the slide or any of its properties and then publish to MP4 , it will work as desired.

I've tried several settings and am experiencing the same issue, so apparently, it doesn't work as desired.

Any actual problem solving suggestions?
