Smart shapes as buttons misplace after publishing

I have a responsive project that has the learner click on a drawer to open it to explore the contents. I've used smart shapes to outline the drawer. The drawers are aligned in preview but once published they get pushed up by one drawer i.e. when they click on drawer 1 it's opening drawer 2 instead. In th eimage below, drawers 7 & 8 should be down one. The numbers are not in the program just using for reference from a snipit.

Appreciate any feedback.

Did you use Fluid Boxes or Breqkpoints

If you used Fluid Boxes, you should know that you cannot have stacked objects in a normal fluid box. If I understand your question correctly, you put a shape on top of the image? That is called stacking. It is only possible in a static fluid box.
