Question

Smartshapes look aligned BUT are not when I actually view in a browser

I have three buttons which appear aligned when I'm in development (filmstrip) view.

When I publish and view the project in a mobile device, they boxes do NOT look aligned.  They appear to be much lower on the screen.

Why is this happening and how to remedy?

Can you specify if you are using a scalable HTML normal project or a Responsive project, please?

Could you also tell which exact version you are using? Post a screenshot of the slide view and the view on the mobile device, in case of a responsive project the correct breakpoint view.

    Hi Paul and Lily:

It's a responsive project and I'm using Captivate v8.0.3.250 which is the latest Version 8 version. (I'm not at work right now so I can't post a screen capture).

My smart shapes are properly proportioned when I'm designing the layout but when I publish, that's when they seem positioned a tad too low or too high.

This is happening in the 1024 (full size) breakpoint.

Is this a responsive design project or a regular project (Blank project)? If it's responsive design, they may only be aligned at the breakpoints. Make sure all the position settings for the objects are correct and set the same so that they are aligned on all the points in between the breakpoints.

BTW: I'm running Adobe Captivate 8.0.3.290. You should check if an update is available for your system.

I would like to see a screen capture showing the multiple objects with the position panel open for each one. That should tell us right away if it's the fault of Captivate or if you have missed something.
